SailMaine NOR in Brief

Here are the basics:

• All skippers are responsible for any information listed in the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions posted on the Regattaman event site. 

• Racing under the current US Racing Rules of Sailing. 

• Scoring is Time on Time.

• All boats registering are expected to fundraise $250 for SailMaine. 

• PHRF Line

• Keelboats with PHRF ratings.

• Rating may be assigned to you if you do not have one, it is not appealable.

• Ratings bonuses are applied for fundraising goals. See NOR for details.

• VHF 78 for race communications

• Classes

• Racing - Spinnaker 

• Register on Regattaman

• Jib and Main 

• Register on Regattaman

• Harbor Cruise - out to support the cause, not interested in racing. 

• Register on SailMaine Website.

• All courses are around the buoys.

• Dinghy Line

• Register on SailMaine Website.

• Courses are provided at skippers meeting the morning of the event.

• Enter early and get a discount before 5/10.

• Late fee after 8/1.
