The Marblehead Yacht Club invites sailors to participate in the Downeast Challenge, a 100 mile long- distance overnight 
sailboat race from Marblehead, Mass to Boothbay Harbor, Maine starting on Friday, July 24. This is a great way to get to Maine for 
summer cruising or challenge yourself with long-distance sailing. The 100nm distance makes this a qualifier for races like the 
Marblehead to Halifax or Newport/Marion to Bermuda.
