The Rutgers University Alumni Sailing Association and the Rutgers University Sailing Team are proud to welcome you to the 11th Annual Rutgers Alumni Regatta—a weekend that brings together generations of Rutgers sailors, celebrates our shared history on the Raritan, and strengthens the community that continues to carry Rutgers Sailing forward.

Since the first Alumni Regatta in 2015, this event has grown into one of the most anticipated traditions in our calendar. Alumni from across the country return each year to reconnect, compete, and support the team. In 2021, several graduates formally established the Rutgers University Alumni Sailing Association (RUASA) to deepen that commitment by expanding opportunities for students, building alumni engagement, and ensuring that Rutgers Sailing remains a vibrant part of the university community.

Whether you raced in college, learned to sail after graduation, or simply want to reconnect with friends, all Rutgers alumni and supporters are invited. The weekend blends spirited racing, genuine camaraderie, and meaningful support for the current team.

What to Expect:

• Competitive racing in Flying Juniors on the Raritan River for the Hencken Cup

• A full weekend of alumni connection—stories, memories, and new friendships

• Opportunities to meet the current team, learn about their season, and help strengthen their program

• Food, regatta shirts, and additional activities throughout the weekend

Event Details:

When:       Sunday, September, 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM

(Alumni Dinner on Saturday Night at Stuff Yer Face as well)

Where:      Class of 1914 Boathouse New Brunswick, NJ 08901

Cost:

• $150 per sailor

• $50 per non-sailor or guest (Includes regatta t-shirt and lunch)

Registration Notes:

When selecting your boat, you may need to add a "CFJ” and list yourself as the owner. The fleet will be provided by the Rutgers Sailing Team.
